The day the planets aligned, the moon was full, and locusts fell from the sky, Peaceable Jones was born.
No one can quite remember exactly who was in the band when the name actually arose, (there were some fill-in members for a while) but the name was found in a book.

Well anyway, Peaceable Jones is a melting pot of bands from the valley. i.e., SWaB, Bucket o' Funk, the Bomberz, Angst and God knows who else.
They formed around April 2004 and have been playing their instruments sequentially and collectively ever since, with such bands as the Voodoo Glow Skulls, Left Alone, Knockout, Orange, Civet, The Exies, Agent Orange, Better Luck Next Time, Hit the Switch, and many others
