Formed in the Summer of 2007, Life In Electric mixes modern synth-rock and pop hooks with 80's dance, all into a fresh ear pleasing sound that already has fans demanding more. After meeting at a local show, guitarist Ross Ryan sent two song demos to vocalist Aaron "Ace" Abalos (bassist Zach Newton and drummer Jason Jojola round out the band) via email, which Abalos put vocals and lyrics to. Upon hearing the outcome, the two knew they had something. Wasting no time the boys hit the studio to record their first 4 song EP (To Love, To Dance, To Die) and enlisted the talents of producer/engineers David Bendeth (Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paramore) and Dan Korneff (MCR) to mix 3 of the 4 songs. After an impressive debut performance later that July at The Aggie Theater and the release of their first single, "You Crash", Life In Electric was selected by local modern-rock radio giant KTCL to perform at the station's Big Gig (which also featured performances by Social Distortion, Blue October, Plain White T's and many more). And mind you, all this from a band that was no more then a few months into their career. With the buzz already building and a unique, refreshing sound, Life In Electric is ready to shock the world.
