Having been compared to whatever noise it is that angry dinosaurs make, Alt-Rock band KunK make sounds that have been known to stop wild boar in their quest for flesh. Creating a sound that is similar to the loveless child of The Fall and the Pixies, KunK put on an energetic live show that excites, tantalises and scares the crowd in equal measure. They have also shared the stage with the likes of Nine Black Alps, Electric Eel Shock and Battle.
Two years after a much needed line-up change, KunK are set to release their debut single in May 2008. Despite the bands early demos receiving airplay from the likes of Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 1) and John Kennedy (XFM), KunK decided it was time to step up a gear and giving them the tools to do so was producer Jack Ruston (Reuben, McQueen, Kubb, Tom McRae). The result of which is three tracks of slap-you-in-the-face-and-leave-you, ballsy yet delightful Alternative Rock, which will excite you in a manner reminiscent of the best Christmas present you ever received.
