Was there ever such an inflammatory 3 piece rock band AS THIS until now?? Guitar- adrift, phantasmagorical and soul-shakin'. Super drums which mince the profound and scuttles the beat. The bass sound which stimulates the brains of all ｌiving things. And, vocals-songs which ridicule and laugh at modern society. But hey- the overall impression is melodic and down-home y'all. Pearl Jam, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, JIMI HENDRIX, and STEVIE WONDER ... JINA is influenced by these greats, but were successful in making a new alternative, soulful and punkiｓh sound with a "new generation" sensitivity which transcends nationality. We are Japanese, but we are cosmopolitan. After you hear it you'll know exactly what we mean when they say ''there is no border in music!''
JINA's History: We met in the jazz/fusion club of Waseda University in 2000. We were playing instrumental jazz/fusion music individually. We have been writing songs since 2004, and started to play out in the clubs from the middle of 2005 under the name ''Spank-A-Lee''.
