Nov. 5, 2007 Hollywood, CA - Amongst the dressing rooms of the Shout Out Louds and Nico Vega, I sat in Johnossi’s dressing room awaiting Ossi’s arrival after sound check, and at last we were reunited since our last interview at Detour Festival
So tell me, what was it like playing Detour Festival?
Uh, detour festival..I don't quite remember..There weren’t that much people at our show, it was our first show, so it's always a bit sketchy playing the first show on a 5-week tour. I guess I had a good time. I think we played a decent show.
Yeah, I think it had alot to do with the timings the bands were scheduled to play when people were just arriving.
Yeah.
Did you check out any bands at Detour Festival?
Yeah, I saw the Shout Out Louds; they put on a decent show I think. Yeah, and I saw some bands..I saw that duo..they play that song dance..what are they called? uh..nevermind.
Was it Justice?
Justice! Yeah.
What did you think of the crowd for that?
There were a bit too much people for me, I can only take 10 minutes of that kind of show, it wasn’t for me.
Yeah, definitely… How has the rest of the tour been since Detour Festival?
There's been some ups and downs; the shows have been really good. The feedback has been really good. Although we had some problems with the bus breaking down...
What was that like?
You know you wake up on the bus, the bus stops and its broken on the side of the freeway stuck there for a while... that has happened 4 or 5 times, we had to cancel a show because of it. What show was that?
It was the one after San Francisco.
What can you say you enjoyed most from the tour?
I'd say seeing new different cities--I really liked San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, of course New York, Boston was pretty funny, and Austin was really cool we had a good time there.
What are your plans now?
Well this is our last show for the 5 week tour, I go back home now to Sweden. We're all pretty tired so we're psyched to go back home.
So now you’re just going to relax?
Yeah, I guess there's going to be some sort of after party, but I have a car that's picking me up a quarter pass 5 tonight to LAX.
That sounds real nice.
I enjoyed my time here in the US enough, but I must go back home!
What would you say is your favorite kind of food?
I would have to say fresh fish that has just been caught. Especially when you caught the fish yourself.
Where would you say is your favorite place to be?
Well, I guess I would have to say home right now, but I guess in a couple of weeks that might change, but right now home for now.
What would you say is your favorite city in the whole world?
In the whole world? Well, I’ve been to a lot of cities without touring. I’d like to go back to Cape Town, South Africa; it was real nice there. Yeah, that's actually my favorite place right now aside from Sweden.
