Lets start by introducing TGK to the BandNation readers.

Gina, Ivette, James and David

Who writes the music and lyrics, Tell us about that process.

Ivette: We all wrote the song "Games' and collaborated with each other on it.
James : Most of our songs were written by our producer songwriter Rod "Allegro" Norman
David: We come up with a good hook and then record that part in the studio.
Gina: Then we go into the studio after listening to the instrumental of the song and lay down our lead vocals, it's a pretty cool process.

Ivette: Keane

David: Timberland, Justin Timberlake, Hoobastank,& Panic of the Disco mix CD
James : Jack's Mannequinn

Ivette, how is it being the youngest in the band?, Does your age complicate things?

Ivette: Yes, I am the baby, but I love it! I have my big sis and the guys are like my big brothers ,so they are always looking out for me. It is not a problem so far, but I am only 16!

Is the music style any different from your first album? How would you describe this new album musically?

Maria: I really try not to censor myself, but it has happened. Sometimes when you are in a really dark place, you tend to write some really disturbing stuff (laughs). I still have those songs for me to listen to, but as far as putting it out there, it wouldn't do anyone any good.

We have to ask, you are all very good looking, Is there any romance between the 4 of you? If not, Do you have girlfriends/boyfriends?

Ivette: There is no romance between us, we are like family. Personally I am not dating
anyone,I am focusing on my career.
David: No we are all friends, but I do have a special someone out there.
James: This is just my family away from home, there is no romance among us. I am in between girlfriends right now.
Gina: We are very busy and have little or no time for relationships. I am just having fun traveling and seeing new things.

Boy bands were very popular a few years back, What are your thoughts about current trends and fan acceptance of your genre?

David: With two girls and two guys we are different than boybands.We are just tryng to do music of the future and now, instead of the past. People seem to enjoy our music.
James : As long as we are setting trends instead of following we will be fine.

Gina and Ivette, How do you like working with your sister?

Gina: Our bond has grown stronger throughout this process and I just love my little sister.
Ivette: I never thought this growing up but being in a band with my sister is awsome.We always have each other's back and she is sooo talented!

Favorite Tracks off of the CD and why?

Gina: South Ya'll. I love hip hop music and i think it's a great song to vibe with.
James : Palm of Your hand. I love performing that song.
David : Games. I like that song because we wrote it and I love performing this song.
Ivette: Games. It is my favorite and I love dancing to it.

Any tour plans?

We have some tour dates with Teddy Geiger, Ashley Parker Angel and Rihanna coming up soon.

What is the worst/best thing about touring?

Worst thing: Food, Traveling not sleeping in your own bed,
Best thing: meeting thousands of new fans that have never seen you before but are totally into it after the show.

Tell our readers about the new movie you are shooting, "The Guardians".

The movie is about four high school kids that are in a band, who through James (Sam)
grandfather in the movie, the professor played by Ron Palillo (Horshack from Welcome Back Kotter sitcom in the 80's) gain super powers through the professor's invention. It was a cool movie shoot Alex M (Laguna Beach) is also in the movie.

What might your next CD be like?

Our next cd we will get the chance to write more and show off some of our other skills as musicians. Also more pop/rock influences.

If you could perform with any band/artist who would it be and why?

Gina: It would be a collaboration with Sting. I think he is amazing and so soulful!
Ivette: Justin Timberlake - Because he is a tremendous dancer and singer!
James: Usher - He brings high energy to the stage every night.
David: Justin Timberlake - I love the energy on stage for a guy singing and dancing.
