Spotlight: New Found Glory
Formed in Coral Springs, Florida in the middle of 97, New Found Glory are four guys that know how to rock the party. Having relocated to California, 6 albums and 2 DVD’s released, the band are enjoying success, touring North America (with Senses Fail) and now Europe (with Paramore in the UK). The band: Jordan Pundik (lead vocals), Chad Gilbert (formerly of hardcore band Shai Hulud), Steve Klein on guitar, Ian Grushka on bass and Cyrus Bolooki on drums, have not only been in the scene for 10 years but they have continued to produce one great album after another and influenced an entire generation of bands whose sounds range from emo to pop-punk to hardcore.

The band, now on tour in campaign for their From The Screen To Your Stereo album, have an exciting and rocking show geared up for the fans. There are even the occasional guest appearances – singer Lisa Loeb (“Stay”) showed up at their NY show and Eisley vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Sherri DuPree (also, Chad’s wifey) sang a duet with Jordan at the Avalon show in LA. Who knows, maybe Madonna will show up in UK! (hah)

This month, Jordan & Steve.
Can you introduce yourselves to our readers?
J: I'm Jordan from New Found Glory and I sing with the band.
S: I'm Steve and I play guitar in the band.
Your album has been out the last couple of months. Congratulations. How has the tour for it been?
J: The tour has been really fun. It's been cool because we are friends with most of the bands on this tour--makes it for a good night.
What made you guys decide to do a record that covers music soundtracks?
J: Well we put the first one out in 2000 and the response was really great for it. The kids have been asking us to put out a sequel..so the kids asked and we did it.
